On Friday 10th November, we held a remembrance assembly in school led by the P6 pupils. We welcomed family and friends to join us at this assembly. The children spoke about the significance of Remembrance Day and why we wear a poppy. The Rev. McNie shared how his grandfather served in WWII and showed us some of his memorabilia. We laid a wreath and held a minutes silence, after which, Mr McMichael played the bag pipes.
We also wish to say thank you to Willow and Daisy who represented our school at Antrim Castle Gardens at their service of Remembrance on Sunday 13th November.
